Lleida, where nature is full of life and colour!
In this section you will find information about the diversity and unique nature of the landscapes of the
Pyrenees and the
Lands of Lleida .
In the high mountain area of the Pyrenees, visitors will be able to experience nature in its purest form: the
Aigüestortes and Estany de Sant Maurici National Park, the only national park in Catalonia; the
Cadí-Moixeró Natural Park, which is the protected space with the largest number of European natural habitats and species of interesting flora and fauna in Catalonia; and the
Alt Pirineu Natural Park, the largest natural park in Catalonia.
In the Pre-Pyrenees, visitors are invited to visit the
Collegats-Terradets Territorial Park,
the Boumort Hunting Nature Reserve and the
Mont-rebei Gorge, as well as other places of interest. Finally, on the Lleida Plain, visitors will find peaceful landscapes. Some are rather sober while others are fertile; these landscapes are decorated with century-old olive trees, fruit trees and crop lands.
Don’t miss such spectacular landscapes as: the
lvars and Vila-sana Pool,
the Natural Route of Utxesa,
the Riu Llobregós Valley and the
Aiguabarreig (Confluence) of the Rivers Segre, Cinca and Ebro.
