This territory offers visitors a rich cultural and monumental heritage which is crowned by its Romanesque legacy, which finds its maximum expression in: the group of Romanesque-style churches of the Vall de Boí which have been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site; an important set of cave paintings that are scattered across the geography of Lleida; an architectural gem from the Romanesque-Gothic period, known as La Seu Vella in the city of Lleida; and the only Romanesque-style cathedral conserved in Catalonia, the Cathedral of La Seu d’Urgell.

Throughout the territory there is also a rich offer of art and architecture which includes: museums, churches, monasteries, hermitages, watch towers, castles, mural paintings, altarpieces, iconography, religious images and tapestries. This is a land of friendly and hospitable people which has developed in the midst of a unique landscape and which knows how to transmit its know-how through its folk festivals, its art and its history.
