The Patronat de Turisme (Regional Tourist Board) of the Diputació de Lleida is a body that was created in 1989. The organisation is responsible for managing the promotion of tourism in Lleida Province, which is a privileged and welcoming territory that offers enjoyable tourist activities throughout the year. Its attractions include: a wide variety of sports, unique cultural attractions, local gastronomy, rural tourism, and the chance to stay in some of the province's most historic buildings.
Scattered across the province, visitors will find a highly varied selection of art and architecture. This includes the Vall de Boí, Europe's most important concentration of Romanesque art, which was recently declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Lleida is also one of the leading destinations in Spain for adventure sports. Over
140 specialised companies operate in this province, which is a venue for various world championship events (kayak,
paragliding, hang-gliding, canoeing) and also an exceptionally beautiful territory for nature lovers, offering such
activities as trekking, walking its SGRs, mountain biking, horse riding excursions, fishing and hunting. Lleida
offers a wealth of natural spaces. These include: the Aigüestortes i l'Estany de
Sant Maurici National Park, which is the only Natural Park in Catalonia; its main rivers, which are ideal
for rafting; and more than 500 lakes. There are lots of reasons to come and discover Lleida and share its sensations
with friends and family!
We hope that you enjoy surfing through these pages and are able to find the holiday of your dreams!
