The national game reserves are geographically delimited territories with unique characteristics. They have been created in order to promote, encourage, conserve and protect autochthonous species of fauna. They are located in mountainous areas of great ecological importance and landscape quality that contain highly characteristic fauna of the greatest interest.
Those wishing to hunt in the national game reserves must possess a personalised, non-transferable hunting license.
