This village of Les Garrigues is located on a plain dominated by the Renaissance style Església Parroquial de la Mare de Déu de l'Assumpció (parish church) with its Baroque style façade and stone belfry. This village also preserves a number of houses dating from the 16th and 17th centuries.About one kilometre from the village, on the way towards Albagés, visitors will find the famous cave paintings of Cogul, which are located in the Cova dels Moros (Moors’ Cave). This site, which is located in a rock that stands to one side of the road way, contains a series of truly unique prehistoric remains.
