Description
This small bird is characteristic of lowland areas with few or no trees that are dominated by herbaceous plants. In such areas, it can be found in a wide range of habitats, and in the lands of western Catalonia it is particularly common on the plains of Lleida, with its core population being found in the local district of El Pla d'Urgell.
