The Auditori Municipal Enric Granados

The Auditori Municipal Enric Granados (Municipal Auditorium), which was officially inaugurated on 14th February, 1995, was created in order to promote music and music-related culture and to thereby satisfy one of the cultural needs of the city (Lleida - El Segrià - Spain). Its programme offers a basic season of events, a season of concerts that includes performances of a wide range of musical genres by both national and international performers, choral cycles, a season by the Julià Carbonell Orchestra of the Lands of Lleida, a season by the Banda Municipal (Municipal Orchestra), and traditional local concerts and opera sessions.  These modern facilities, which are the seat of the Municipal Music Conservatory, include the symphony hall (hall 1) with its almost perfect acoustics, the chamber hall (hall 2), a library of sound recordings and a large room exhibiting the archaeological remains that were found on the site when the building was being constructed.

Facilities:

Hall 1: 803 seats
Hall 2: 245 seats
Sound Recordings Library:
with a total surface area of 390 m2, 12 booths with 24 listening points and capacity for 150 people. The resources of the library and recordings library are constantly updated and extended.
